Recently opened for the summer season, SantAnna Mykonos is the Cycladic wild child's newest luxury beach club destination featuring premium upgrades including a new design aesthetic, restaurant redos and the Wellness Project launch.
Located within the cosmopolitan heart of the famed summer island retreat, this stylish ‘destination within a destination’ offers guests the ultimate resort-like style living with a range of activities and experiences from light bites to full dining, to carry them through calming, restorative days into uplifting, Champagne-infused evenings.
New décor and furnishings feature tones of cool charcoal – offering shelter from the warm sun – artfully paired with fresh summer whites. Woven sea grass hammocks and statement rattan furnishings are accented by the cerulean blues of the surrounding Aegean Sea, ensuring plenty of spaces for guests to explore for privacy or relaxation. A true, day-to-night experience, the welcoming philosophy of the owners is to create a space that immediately feels like home, and a place to return to again and again.
And that's just how Wanderlista felt when she returned for the season kick-off in May.

On the beachfront, guests may also unwind in new, cozy earth-toned cabanas, arranged along the soft, golden sand, one of the calmest beaches on the island, among whispering palm trees, at the edge of the island’s crystal waters for the quintessential beach experience. Organically shaped sofas are sprinkled throughout the property for more private relaxation.
Celebrated for a uniquely authentic approach, each of SantAnna’s three restaurants offer organic and sustainably sourced local ingredients. The menus are inspired by local products, packed with flavor due to the close proximity of saltwater sea and nutrient-rich volcanic soil.
Many new experiences and amenities that SantAnna opened this year include The Beach Taverna, a 80-seat dining venue, located within the brand new Garden, where guests enjoy unpretentious luxury at its finest; shoes not required. Gypsets revel in lounging on refined, white-washed furniture made from reclaimed wood, or sitting right on the sand. Conveniently arranged tables pepper the beach and pool areas in a comfortable, laid back atmosphere for guests to enjoy small plates or ‘meze’ style (sharing dishes), featuring fresh, simple food from a deliciously creative menu.
“The concept is to have something light and authentic to share with your friends with a glass of wine and continue your beach experience,” said owner/founder Dimitris Christoforidis. “With so many areas to relax in, guests tend to spend the entire day, so The Beach Taverna and Garden will fuel that desire. Our small plate menu is perfect for lounging around with drinks before heading into The SantAnna Restaurant later in the afternoon.”
A new, elevated dining experience will welcome guests at The SantAnna Restaurant, offering a more personalized approach to dining, while staying true to its Greek roots and ethos. The focus is on an interactive menu, tableside preparation, personal chef encounters, and wonderful details such as a small olive tree brought to the guest’s table with cured olives ready to pick and eat. Design and décor has been updated as well, at The SantAnna Restaurant, offering a reviving and relaxing experience, allowing guests to indulge in a carefree swim before sitting back to lounge directly above the glistening waters of the swimming pool.

SantAnna has expanded its Greek and international wine and aged Champagne collection, and four bars serve an extensive modern cocktail menu, while a new Cigar and Shisha Lounge promises a wide range of choice Cuban and Dominican cigars as well as a hand-selected array of shisha available in various flavors. For the health conscious, there will be a juice bar and a wide selection of “super food” offerings. A Sushi and Raw Bar also returned, featuring inventive combinations of Asian delicacies highlighting fresh local seafood to be paired with a top-shelf sake list.
One of Greece’s most exciting and up-and-coming chefs, Theologos Amiras joined Nice-n-Easy Group as Chef de Cuisine at the company’s outpost in Kifisia, Athens’ upmarket northern suburb. With a Michelin-starred education in restaurants such as London’s The Hand & Flowers, Belgium’s L’Air du Temps and Copenhagen’s Era Ora, his striking, laser-sharp creativity and innovation shines though in his menus for SantAnna.
The epicenter of the destination is the largest beachfront swimming pool in Europe (more than 22,600 square feet), where guests may also enjoy its signature Private Islands. The central island will house a lounge and bar named Delos (an important mythological, historical and archaeological site) while the smaller ones are booked by the day, and named after other islands in the Cycladic chain. These private islands offer unrivaled butler services, and private changing rooms located below the swimming pool. Built-in daybeds offer swim-out convenience. The largest Private Island even boasts its own submerged apartment with an underwater window facing into the swimming pool, shower and bathroom, and sleeping quarters, perfect for daytime naps.
New this year, the Wellness Project – a collaboration with the renowned BeautyWorld by Despina Gavala, a Mykonos mainstay – is tucked beneath the venue’s swimming pool. The in-house spa offers a range of treatments, including facials, massages, and manicures and pedicures as well as a hair salon, utilizing Greek brand, Apivita as its main line. SantAnna will also host morning Pilates sessions, Vinyasa yoga, and fitness classes compliments of Miha-Bodytec, as well as personal training. Sessions are by appointment only.
SantAnna promises to take guests on a musical journey where their senses will be engaged throughout their stay and well into the night. Low-key ambient selections will be played throughout the morning and daytime then easing into a more up-tempo atmosphere as the evening warms up, transforming it into one of the most exciting entertainment venues in the Cyclades. SantAnna will host an all-star lineup of local and international DJs, on a daily basis, as well as a selection of live shows and interactive acts.
